Chocolate Chip Cookies: A Word to the Wise

Don't make them with all vegetable oil (no butter or shortening). And don't use chocolate-flavored chips! Trust us. Just don't.

um...if you're referring to the cookies you made yesterday here's what I say: THEY WERE/ARE GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the record, I redeemed our recipe by using 1/2 c. butter, 1/2 c. buttery spread, and 1/2 c. vegetable oil. The cookies are perfect! And of course I used 100% real chocolate chips. Even if the package had not said, "Real" on it, I knew they were bona fide chocolate chips the way they melted all over the place in the cookies! =D
